» Die Fotografie von Susanna hat einen ausgeprägten "dokumentarischen" Charakter. Womöglich geht dieser mit ihrer Biographie als Studentin der Fotografie und ihrer Bewunderung für dieses fotografische Prinzip einher. In diesem ist der Fotograf ein stiller Beobachter, der alles um sich herum wahrnimmt und verifiziert, um es später als grafisches Zeugnis des Augenblicks oder des Ereignisses, in dem die raue Wirklichkeit bezeugt wird, umzusetzen. Die Disziplin, sich auf Fakten zu stützen und ihnen zu erlauben für sich selbst zu sprechen, ohne falsche Informationen hinzuzufügen, die das dokumentarische Vermächtnis stören könnten, ist die Grundlage der Arbeit der Fotografin. Zusätzlich wird sie durch die persönliche Bildbearbeitung noch aufgewertet, ohne in das Terrain der Manipulation vorzudringen. Innerhalb dessen, was man als digitales Fotolabor bezeichnen könnte, werden die Lichtwerte der Bilder betont oder dramatisiert, Gegensätze wie Schwarz und Weiß oder Licht und Schatten hervorgehoben. Susannas Fotografien erinnern feinsinnig an die Madrider Schule, und ihre Wertsetzungen sind gerichtet auf eine gesellschaftliche Darstellung in einem natürlichen Gefüge, - zugleich jedoch außergewöhnlich in der gewählten fotografischen Umsetzung. Die Wirklichkeit darstellen, ohne dass das Wer oder Wie wichtig wird. Allein das Ereignis im Augenblick soll gewürdigt werden, welches durch das Foto zum bedeutungsvollen Dokument wird. « » Susanna's photography has a distinct "Documentary" feeling to it. To that end, the discipline must be based on the facts and allow these to speak for themselves, without adding false information which could muddle up the documentary legacy; it is the foundation of this work, which is re-evaluated with the personal treatment which the artist, without entering into manipulation, provides to the lighting elements of the image, highlighting or dramatizing the black and white or dark and light concept, within what we could call the digital photograph laboratory. Susanna's photos subtly remind us of the Madrid School, and its values are channeled into the social representation within a natural framework, but at the same time, unusual within the chosen context. To capture reality regardless of the what or the whom, but rather, valuing the situation which concurs in the photograph, which by itself is the meaning of the document. «
